There is plenty of local interest in the Leinster club football and hurling championships this weekend.

On Saturday in the Junior Football Semi-Finals, Multyfarnham face Crossabeg Ballymurn of Wexford in Enniscorthy at 3pm and Offaly’s Erin Rovers will face Meathhill of Meath also tomorrow in Pollagh at 2pm

In the Intermediate Football Championship Quarter-Final, Durrow face Rochfortbridge in a local derby tomorrow in Durrow at 2pm.

Then on Sunday, the focus will switch to the Senior Hurling Championship.

Offaly champions Kilcormac/Killoughey take on Castletown/Geogeghan of Westmeath in an attractive local derby at Bord na Móna O’Connor Park at 2pm

Meanwhile, Portlaoise face Mount Leinster Rangers of Carlow at O’Moore Park and that game also throws in at 2pm.
