Manchester City are back on top of the Premier League.

The champions set down a marker for Liverpool by crushing Chelsea 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Raheem Sterling scored the first and last goals, and in between that, Sergio Aguero rattled off a hat trick, his first goal a 25 yard bullet which helped City into a 4-0 interval lead.

Ilkay Gundogan also found the net in the rout.

Aguero is now City’s record league goalscorer in history with 160 goals.

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Leicester City 3-1 at Wembley to remain in the title race.

Colombian Davinson Sanchez put Spurs ahead, before Christian Eriksen made it 2-0 after the hour mark.

That second goal came after Jamie Vardy missed a penalty for the Foxes.

Vardy then pulled one back, before Son Heung Min sealed all 3 points for Spurs in stoppage time.
