City Pip Liverpool In Thrilling Title Race

Written 2 months ago by Midlands Sport

One of the most exciting title races in English football history has ended in a one point win for Manchester City – who beat Brighton 4-1 yesterday to clinch back to back Premier League crowns.

Pep Guardiola’s men ended on 98 points, with Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat of Wolves putting them on 97 points, but for the Reds, it wasn’t enough.

City’s Raheem Sterling is thrilled to be a part of it:

Chelsea ended up in third following their scoreless draw with Leicester City.

Tottenham Hotspur finished fourth as they drew 2-2 with Everton.

And a poor run for Manchester United was capped by a 2-0 loss to relegated Cardiff City on the final day at Old Trafford.
