Dot’s Double Speak Bounces Back To Form

Written 4 months ago by Will O'Callaghan

Mullingar’s Dot Love enjoyed success at Limerick this afternoon as Double Speak showed tremendous battling abilities to land the second division of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle.

The lightly-raced nine-year-old had proved a little frustrating to follow in his nine-race career but scored for the third time in his career in the hands of this year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup and Irish Grand National-winning jockey Robbie Power.

Owned by Brian Donlon, Love’s charge was headed after the last hurdle but fought bravely to get his head back in front when it mattered, rewarding punters with a 12-1 success having been available to back at odds of 25-1 earlier this morning.
