Written 10 months ago by Will O'Callaghan

There’s increasing speculation that Rassie Erasmus will leave his role as Munster’s director of rugby.

According to today’s Irish Independent, the South African has triggered the six-month notice clause in his contract ahead of a potential move to his native country.

Erasmus will still be in charge for the start of the new season, but his future past that point remains unclear.

The South African Rugby Union have made no secret of their desire to lure the 44 year old back to his homeland and reports claim he’ll be offered a director of rugby role.
