Jack Carty Returns To Full Training Ahead Of Connacht’s Clash With Munster

Connacht will have Jack Carty available once again for Saturday’s Pro12 derby against Munster at the Sportsground.

The Athlone-native out-half has returned to full contact training this week after recovering from a ruptured spleen injury although he’s likely to be named on the bench for this weekend.

Fellow Athlonian Robbie Henshaw sat out training yesterday but the centre was simply being rested after last Saturday’s Challenge Cup defeat to Grenoble.

Winger Danie Poolman will miss this weekend’s game with a foot injury while flanker Jake Heenan could now be a doubt for the rest of the season after he sprained his ankle in training last week – just as he was about to return from an injury to the other ankle.
