Kerry Set Up Final Date With Dublin

Written 1 week ago by Sport Midlands

Kerry stand between Dublin and 5 senior All Ireland football titles in a row after the Kingdom beat Tyrone by a goal to win yesterday’s second semi final at Croke Park.

The green and gold came out on top by 1-18 to 18 points in front of 33 thousand 848 spectators, the lowest semi final attendance in football in 23 years.

Stephen O’Brien scored the vital goal 13 minutes from time.

O’Brien will have to appeal a suspension which right now will rule him out of the decider.

Galway dethroned minor champions Kerry by 14 points to 13 to book a final date with Cork.
