Kilcormac Killoughey will face Mount Leinster Rangers of Carlow in the last four of the Leinster Club Senior Hurling Championship.

The Offaly champions were 2-15 to 1-12 winners over Westmeath’s Castletown Geoghegan yesterday while Mount Leinster Rangers defeated Laois’s Camross by 19 points to 13.

Kilcormac Killoughey team manager Stephen Byrne said afterwards that his team only got into the game after the sending off of Stephen Leonard just after half time.

KK went in leading by a point at half-time 2-6 to 1-8 after goals from Peter Healion and Dan Currams while Castletown’s goal came from a penalty scored by Niall O’Brien.

A string of impressive points midway through the second half were decisive for the Offaly men.

All Ireland champions Cuala of Dublin will play Saint Martin’s of Wexford in the other semi-final.
