Minor Football Championship Underway Tonight

The Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship gets underway this evening.

Defending champions Meath play Dublin at Parnell Park in Group 2.

In the Pool’s other game, Offaly travel to Ennicorthy to face Wexford.

In Group One, Westmeath face Longford in a local derby at Pearse Park, while Laois play Carlow at IT Carlow.

In tonight’s other games Kildare host Wicklow in Newbridge and Kilkenny versus Louth at Nowlan Park.

The top two teams from each group, along with two other qualifiers will get into the Leinster Quarter-finals which are due to begin on June 1st.
