Offaly Hurling Review Committee Resigns En Masse

Offaly’s hurling review committee have resigned en masse.
The group headed by former Ballyboden manager Liam Hogan, who authored a report on hurling in the Faithful County last year, decided to step down in frustration at Offaly County Board’s implementation of their recommendations.
Among those to resign are Director of Hurling Brian Carroll, who was appointed to the coaching and development committee alongside Hogan and former Offaly camogie captain Marion Crean.
Offaly’s link up with Athlone IT has also come to and end; it had previously been seen as a cornerstone of the Faithful County’s attempts to improve the strength and conditioning of their young players.
