Pat Flanagan Says He Found Out About His Dismissal Through Social Media

Former Offaly football boss Pat Flanagan has revealed that his wife informed him of his sacking from the job after she saw it on social media.
According to the Irish Independent, Flanagan has indicated that his efforts to progress Offaly football were hampered behind the scenes.
His three-year reign came to an end at Tuesday night’s county board meeting when delegates adopted a recommendation by the selection committee not to reappoint him.
Flanagan has said he’s “extremely disappointed” at the manner of how he found out about his dismissal.
