The Portlaoise Panthers are being welcomed into the Men’s Division One National League for the upcoming season.

The Laois side are one of five teams to be approved for the competition following an interview process at the weekend.

They join the Titans from Galway, Ballincollig BC, LIT Celtics and St Paul’s BC Killarney in being included in the 15-team top league for 2017-18.
