England prop Joe Marler’s been banned for two matches and told to donate 20-thousand pounds to an equality charity.

World Rugby found him guilty of misconduct for making derogatory comments about the heritage of Wales forward Samson Lee during the Six Nations.

Marler called Lee a “gypsy boy” during the game at Twickenham last month and previously said he’d accept the punishment given to him.

World Rugby said the misconduct charge was “admitted in its entirety” by Marler.

He is now banned until April 18, and will miss Harlequins’ European Challenge Cup quarter-final against London Irish on Saturday, plus an Aviva Premiership appointment with league leaders Saracens at Wembley seven days later.
