Wallace Says Suspension Was Never An Issue Before Wicklow Loss

Speaking earlier this morning, the former Offaly senior football team manager Stephen Wallace says that his suspension only became an issue after his side lost to Wicklow last Sunday.
The Offaly County Board will now seek an interim management to take charge of the senior football team for the qualifiers which will start in three weeks time after team manager Wallace was removed from his post last night.
It follows the fall out from the Faithful County’s Leinster Championship defeat to Wicklow on Sunday.
County Board Chairman Tommy Byrne said earlier that they could not continue to work with a manager who was under suspension.
