Wins For St Loman’s, Athlone, Rosemount And Caulry In Westmeath SFC

John Heslin and Shane Dempsey scored 1-15 between them as holders St Loman’s eased to 2-24 to 1-7 win over Killucan in the Shay Murtagh Pre-Cast Westmeath Senior Football Championship.

Luke Dempsey’s side, who are top of Group One, had led by 17-points to no score at the interval.

Mickey Greene’s goal helped Athlone defeat Tyrrellspass by 1-10 to 1-7 at Tang – Denis Glennon scored a late goal for Tyrrellspass.

The win sees Athlone move up to second in Group One while Tyrrellspass are fourth ahead of their final group match against Mullingar Shamrocks this weekend.
