Westmeath Mum Passes Away One Month After Successful Fundraiser
Written 5 months ago by Angel Croitor
Claire Graham, a mother from Ballymanus Castlepollard who was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer last year unfortunately passed away this morning – one month after a successful fundraiser for her cancer treatment.
A page set up to aid spread awareness of Claire’s cancer treatment funds confirmed the news earlier today.
She is remembered by her dear friend Michele Trapiche in her latest facebook post:
A crowdfunder set up by Michele raised £85,000 to pay for a drug called Pembrolizumab that is only available in the UK.
As the campaign was drawing to a close Michele stated ‘never in my wildest dreams did I think we would get such a response. I am humbled and grateful to you all for your support and continued support.’
We are deeply saddened to hear the news and we wish her family all the best.
