Have you ever camped to get tickets to a concert? Are you dedicated enough to take two days out of your week to ensure you’d get an opportunity to see your idol, your favourite celebrity, or your child’s favourite musician?

Grainne Gavin started camping on Thursday and managed to stick around til Saturday to nab herself and her partner in crime, Jackie Owens, four tickets to Ed Sheeran’s now sold out tour in 2018.

‘It was kind of like we need to go home and have a wash, we need to mind the kids, we need to go to work – can you do it today, can you do this, that and the other’.

From abuse yelled from passing motorists to a young man busking away in the queue – Grainne is sure to have the memory of queueing fresh in her mind for a while!
