Mullingar Man Lived Across The Road From The Manchester Attacker

Bailey Waterhouse, a former resident of Mullingar, lived in an apartment block no more than five seconds away from the other apartment complex where the man responsible for the Manchester attacks was residing and constructing the explosives.

‘It was terrifying to know that we were that close to him’.

Bailey is still on edge after the Manchester attacks because he believes that the attacker may have contacts who are in close proximity of himself and his friends. Despite the obvious danger Bailey and his friends had agreed to share the apartment with anyone in need as many others were just as brave to do on the night of the attack.

‘You dont want to live your life in fear because you wouldn’t be living your life if that was the case’.

The next morning Bailey posted his condolences and thoughts on the courageous acts of his newly dubbed ‘home’ community:
