Portarlington Psychologist Doctor Eddie Murphy says he’s running for the Seanad due to what he calls a ‘crisis’ in Ireland’s mental health and well being.

The Operation Transformation personality says he wants to be the ‘voice’ of those affected by such issues, as he insists help is not being given quickly enough.

He’s seeking the support of NUI graduates during the campaign.

Doctor Murphy says there are many issues to address.
