St Peter’s are five-points clear at the top of the Combined Counties Football League’s Senior Division.
Mark Sherlock scored a hat-trick as the Athlone men won 5-0 at Counties Cup finalists Mountmellick last night.
Peter’s are now five-points ahead of Willow Park with a game in hand.
They travel to Cork City in the FAI Cup’s second-round tomorrow night.
