Anyone Who Suspects Parkinson's Should Get It Checked, Says Offaly Man Living With Condition

He was diagnosed after he developed a shake in his hand.

Anyone who suspects they have Parkinson's shouldn't stay in denial, and get it seen to as soon as possible to prolong their life.

That's the advice from a member of Parkinson's Ireland's Offaly Branch, on World Parkinson's Day.

Andy Galvin was diagnosed with the condition after developing a shake in his hand.

He now has to take up to 30 tablets per day and do regular exercise to manage the condition.
