Taoiseach Offers Assurances Over Government's Focus On Westmeath Paediatric Diabetes Services

Concern is being voiced about the State's approach to ensuring the service continues.

The Taoiseach says he'll be keeping a close-eye on the situation facing Paediatric Diabetes Services in Westmeath.

The clinic has been facing significant pressure due to issues with staffing and resources, with parents fearing it may be forced to close.

An experienced nurse has been brought in to alleviate pressure on the service for a short-term period, but Longford Westmeath TD Sorca Clarke claims she's been moved from Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
