Teachers Worried About Schools Staying Open If Cases Continue To Increase

Taoiseach has warned figures may not peak until end of September.

Teachers are raising concerns over whether schools can remain open if Covid-19 numbers continue to rise into the new academic year.

A new HSE study shows just 4% of children tested positive for the virus during the last school year.

On Saturday the country saw infections hit a 7 month high, but the Taoiseach has warned case numbers may not peak until the end of September.
