Athlone Town End A Run Of Defeats With Draw At Home To Kerry FC

Athlone Town manager Ian Ryan was happy with sides performance in his first game in charge of the club on Friday evening. 

Town ended a run of three straight defeats as they rescued a late draw at home to Kerry FC thanks to Cole Omorehiomwan's 89th minute equaliser. 

The result means Athlone remain bottom of the First Division table and one point behind Longford Town and Finn Harps.
