Turner Wins Another Major Championship Medal

The Portarlington swimmer landed bronze in Belgrade on Tuesday evening.

Nicole Turner has landed yet another major championship medal.

The Portarlington para-swimmer finished third to claim bronze in the 200 metre individual medley with Dearbhaile Brady placing fifth in the same race.

Elsewhere Barry McClements picked up bronze in his 100m butterfly final.

Earlier in the evening, Deaten Registe was fourth in his 100 metre breaststroke final. 

Today, Limerick's Roisin Ni Riain is into her third final of the week at the European Para Swimming Championships in Portugal. 
 
She'll be back in the pool this evening for the decider of the 100 metre backstroke after winning gold and silver medals already. 

Ellen Keane finished fourth in her heat of the 100 metre freestyle.
