Rear of the Year 2025

Is your back garden your pride and joy? Whether it’s a perfectly pruned paradise, a wildflower wonderland, or just a cosy corner you’ve transformed into something special – we want to see it! Rear of the Year is your chance to show off the hard work, creativity, and love you’ve poured into your outdoor space.

We’re inviting listeners to send in their very best garden snaps – big or small, simple or spectacular, every garden has a story to tell. Maybe you’ve built a veg patch that feeds the family, designed a colourful haven for the bees, or simply carved out a sunny spot to relax with a cuppa. Whatever makes your rear stand out, we want to celebrate it!

Our judges (and listeners!) will be looking for personality, originality, and that little spark of magic that makes a garden truly shine. Prizes are up for grabs, but most of all, this is about sharing ideas, spreading inspiration, and showing off the gorgeous gardens hidden right here in our community.
