Concerned residents are meeting at Durrow Community Hall this evening.
An Offaly community group says its concerned about a dangerous junction on the N52.
Chairman of Durrow Community Development Charlie Kelleher says people in the area are living in fear when trying to turn right off the High Road of Durrow onto the national route.
Plans for works were first mooted in 2009 but funding has since been withdrawn for the project.
A meeting is taking place in Durrow Community Hall at 8 o'clock.
Mr. Kelleher says people in the area want to see funds re-instated before there is a serious crash or fatality:
