They're the words of Fianna Fáil Senator, Eugene Murphy, who wants the State to support refugees coming into the region to start working as soon as possible.
He says employers around the midlands frequently call him asking where to find workers, and Senator Murphy believes migrants could plug that gap.
He says towns hosting refugees need support from the State:
