Herbal cannabis and illicit drugs are among the items seized in the midlands.
Almost €345,000 worth of contraband has been seized by Revenue in the midlands, Dublin and Rosslare.
14kg of herbal cannabis and various illicit drugs with a value of close to €1,550 were discovered in parcels in the midlands and Dublin.
Also seized in the midlands were assorted tobacco products worth around €14,300.
Alcohol and counterfeit goods were also uncovered, and four weapons intercepted in packages from the Czech Republic.
Investigations are ongoing.

14 kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €278,400,
assorted tobacco products with an estimated value of €14,363,
various illicit drugs, with an estimated value of almost €1,550, and
292 items of counterfeit goods, with an estimated value of almost €50,000.
The illegal drugs were found in parcels originating from the USA, India, Thailand, France and Italy.
The illicit drugs consisted of 1.84kg psychoactive substances, 61g of cannabis resin and 548,425 Diazepam, Zopiclone and Alprazolam tablets.
The alcohol seized comprised of 6 litres of spirits and 31.5 litres of wine with a value of €585 and a potential loss to the exchequer of €343. The spirits were seized when Revenue officers stopped and searched passengers passing through Rosslare Europort. The wine was seized when officers searched parcels at premises in the Midlands.
The tobacco products consisted of 1.1kg tobacco, 8,000 cigarettes, 100 cigars and 5.86kg hookah tobacco.
The counterfeit goods seized included items branded Adidas, Airpods, Arc, Asics, Balenciaga, Birkenstock, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Canada Goose, Christian Dior, Gucci, Jordan, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, New Balance, Nike, The North Face, Oakley, ON Cloud, Off White, Palm Angels, Patagonia, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Stone Island, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ugg.
