Westmeath Scientist Believes Stucture Of Coronavirus Will Make It Difficult To Find Vaccine

He's investigating possible cures for the disease.

A Westmeath scientist believes the asymptomatic nature of coronavirus makes it more difficult to create an effective vaccine. 

Principal Investigator at a college in the Czech Republic Dr. Liam Keegan says its structure is more complex than other viruses such as HIV and Influenza.    

Therefore, common ant-viral procedures such as re-purposing an existing drug may not work against Covid-19. 

Dr. Keegan says that will mean a longer wait for a vaccine:
