John chats about his finishing enterprise where he farms in partnership with his brother and how a recent delay in receiving a new cheque book highlighted to him the importance of this method of payment in rural Ireland. Shay Phelan from Teagasc chats about an upcoming Spring Tillage Seminar in Tullamore where the metrics and financials of crops such as fodder beet and maize will be discussed. Calving cameras are the most valuable piece of equipment on farms at this time of the year, Gerry Stronge from Ballinasloe has been in the camera business for years. He speaks about the range of cameras which he sells and how some of his cameras do not need an internet connection to operate. Sean McGloin from the National Organic Training Skillnet chats from Germany where he is attending the largest organic trade show in Europe.
