Emer and Paul Lynam, are navigating a journey no family ever expects.Their youngest daughter, Kitty, is just four years old and lives with a rare and life-limiting condition known as PURA Syndrome. It's a genetic disorder that profoundly affects the nervous system, causing severe developmental delays, epilepsy and complex medical needs. Kitty requires round-the-clock care. Last year, Emer spent 72 sleepless hours in hospital with Kitty, who couldn’t settle. And just when they thought things couldn’t get harder, their eldest daughter, Millie, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. But in the middle of all of this, they found a lifeline, the Laura Lynn Children's Hospice. Paul and Emer have been speaking with Midlands 103's Will Faulkner on the Midlands Today Show about life with Kitty.
