This week on the Big Story, we sit down with Jack Nolan, who has a remarkable career that spans broadcasting, business and community life.
Jack began with Midlands 103 back in 1990 and gave listeners some of the county’s greatest commentary moments — from Offaly’s All Ireland Hurling Final win in 1994 to Laois’s Leinster triumph in 2003 and the Micko era in the O'Moore county.
Beyond the microphone, Jack built a successful locksmith business which he began 43 years ago.
In 2022, Jack stepped away from his role at Midlands 103 for cancer treatment. Now, he reflects on that journey and the advice from his doctor to put himself first.
