A Laois woman says she doesn't know what it is like to live without pain.
Sarah Jane Allen says she suffers with a long list of symptoms due to endometriosis.
She had to travel to the UK for treatment as it's not available in this country.
Earlier this week, Sinn Fein brought forward a motion in the Dail, calling for increased supports for those suffering from the condition.
The Portlaoise woman has been speaking with Will Faulkner and says she has been told it was just in her head.
