Young Designer Of The Year Plans To Make Her Own Communion Dress

An eight-year-old Offaly girl is planning to make her own Communion dress after being crowned Young Designer of the Year at the Project Fashion Irish Young Designer Awards.
Mucklagh’s Lillian Cully, created a self-made 'Neon Jungle' themed dress for the competition and modelled it herself on the day.
There was over 400 entries nationwide and the winning design will be displayed at Pavilions Shopping Centre, Dundrum Town Centre and on the Project Fashion website.
Lillian, along with her mum and dad Mandy and Bernard, have been speaking with David Hollywood on Midlands 103 and says the design process took a few months:
