Your Day by Day Schedule:

Day 1)

We board our luxury Coach and depart to the sunny south east town of Enniscorthy in Co. Wexford. Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we check in and unwind before our first tour to the Irish National Heritage Park. Located on the banks of the picturesque River Slaney, ‘The Irish National Heritage Park’ truly is the cornerstone of ‘Ireland’s Ancient East’. A not-for-profit outdoor museum depicting 9,000 years of re-created Irish history situated within natural forestry & wet woodlands. Take an unforgettable journey through Ireland’s past and experience stories, sights and sounds that shaped our country.

We retire to the hotel for some dinner and entertainment.

Day 2)

After breakfast, we go on another site seeing mission to the Dunbrody Famine Ship, one of the premier tourist attractions in the South East. Incorporating a guided tour, costumed performers and themed exhibitions of the highest quality, ‘The Dunbrody’ provides a unique insight into the bravery and fortitude with which Irish people faced up to a desperate situation. We then stop off for some lunch (passengers own cost) in the Captain’s Table Restaurant before heading off to our next location, Hook Lighthouse. Explore the oldest operational lighthouse in the world, voted one of Ireland’s favourite attractions.

Purpose built 800 years ago by the Knight William Marshal, your guided tour hears tales of medieval times and life as a light keeper. After site seeing in the New Ross area, it is back to the hotel for dinner and entertainment.

Day 3)

We take in our final tour of Wexford to Johnstown Castle and Gardens.

You will stroll in the stunning gardens, lake walks & woodlands. We might even get a glimpse of the peacock’s displaying their finery at the castle lakeside, with its Gothic towers, waterfall and statues. This concludes our tour of Wexford and we return to our original pick up points.
