The 58th Birr Vintage Week & Arts Festival runs from 31st July to 8th August. Nine days of live music, theatre, visual arts, street performances and community celebrations, there’s something for everyone. This year Join the new Bikes and Barrows section for a chance to win cash prizes, or enter one of the costume competitions and walk in the parade alongside the vintage vehicles.

Sports Memorabilia Charity Auction is taking place on August 7th in Gallen Community School, Ferbane. A huge collection of items from GAA, Rugby, Soccer and Golf, some items for sale, many more going to auction. Items include, signed Jerseys, Photographs, Programmes and Sports Books. Viewing from 3pm. Auction at 6.30pm. All proceeds to Dochas Offaly Cancer Support Group.
