Saturday 17th January, Feast Day of St. Anthony, Abbot & Protector of Livestock
Annual Blessing of the Animals and Livestock takes place today at the Carmelite Church, Moate, Co Westmeath. Day begins with Mass at 10am praying that our lands be blessed and our animals prosper. Blessing of animals throughout the day with blessed salt and holy water available.
