ROSCORE CLINIC CLOSINGAfter 30 years in Business, Herbalist Emmett Walsh & the Roscore Clinic is to close its doors. Emmett has been a dedicated ambassador for herbalism with the Roscore Clinic being one of the first in Ireland to offer Ayurvedic Therapies for healing. Roscore will close on Wednesday 25th February. Emmett and all the staff wish to give a special thank you to all who attended the clinic, and to all the supporters who advocated for Roscore Clinic for over three decades.

ANIMAL WELFARE MEETINGDo you want to help Animals in need, but don’t know how? A Public Meeting will be held in the Greville Arms, Mullingar on Monday 9th Feb from 7 – 10pm for new Volunteers. Speakers include My Lovely Horse, Cats In The Community, Paw Patrol Westmeath, WSPCA and Mullingar Dog Pound. All help is vital, to enable these organisations to keep open.

STRADBALLY TRACTOR RUNTractor & Truck Run in aid of St. Colman’s National School, Stradbally, is on Sunday 1st Feb at 1.30pm. Registration from 12pm at Stradbally Town & Country, Main St. Plus Junior Tractor Run with prizes for best kitted vehicle, refreshments & mega raffle in St. Joseph’s Hall.

CARMLITE CHURCH MOATE SERVICESOn Sunday 8th February, The Carmelite Community in Moate, Co. Westmeath will mark World Day of the Sick by having the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at all our masses i.e. 9am, 10.30am and 12 Noon. Through the Anointing of the Sick, people who are sick and in need can experience the healing presence of the Lord. We will have a relic of St. Bernadette of Lourdes present for veneration and blessing during the morning.
