Road Safety Radio 2026

Road Safety Radio is a new nationwide initiative bringing independent radio stations together to raise awareness of road safety and help reduce deaths and serious injuries on Irish roads.

As part of the campaign, Midlands 103 will broadcast specially produced programmes and features exploring the real-life consequences of road collisions, while highlighting practical steps we can all take to make our roads safer.

With radio playing an important role for people on the move, Road Safety Radio aims to reach drivers and other road users with relevant, impactful content when the message matters most.
