  • STRADBALLY TRACTOR RUN

    Tractor & Truck Run in aid of St. Colman’s National School, Stradbally, is on Sunday 1st Feb at 1.30pm. Registration from 12pm at Stradbally Town & Country, Main St. Plus Junior Tractor Run with prizes for best kitted vehicle, refreshments & mega raffle in St. Joseph’s Hall.

  • CARMLITE CHURCH MOATE SERVICES

    Saturday 17th January, Feast Day of St. Anthony, Abbot & Protector of Livestock
    Annual Blessing of the Animals and Livestock takes place on 17th January at the Carmelite Church, Moate, Co Westmeath. Day begins with Mass at 10am praying that our lands be blessed and our animals prosper. Blessing of animals throughout the day with blessed salt and holy water available. Plus, The Carmelite Church, Moate will host a Songs of Praise Service this Sunday at 7pm, to mark the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. This event of prayer and praise will involve choirs and congregations from the Carmelite Church, St. Patrick’s and the Church of Ireland community.
