  • OFFALY SCHOOL OF SPECIAL EDUCATION - BLACK TIE BALL

    Offaly School of Special Education is hosting a Black Tie Ball fundraiser on Friday, April 24th at the Tullamore Court Hotel. It’s €100 a ticket or €1,000 for a table of ten, with a drinks reception, dinner and live music on the night. All proceeds go towards supporting students and enhancing facilities at the school.   • TULLNALLY CASTLE GARDENS & THE STABLE TEA ROOMS

    Tullynally Castle Gardens & The Stables Tea Rooms, Castlepollard are open from Thursday to Sunday, as well as on Bank Holidays—including Easter. Welcoming visitors from 9am to 5pm. Explore the stunning gardens, 46 acres of beautiful magnolias, amongst grand trees and spring flowers, surrounding the spectacular turreted castle. Afterwards, relax and treat yourself to delicious pastries or a delightful lunch in the Stables Tea Rooms.

  • CROGHAN ANNUAL 5K EASTER RUN

    Croghan Development Group will host their annual 5k fun run on Easter Saturday, April 4th. Parking and registration will be at Croghan Community Centre from 9am with race starting at 10.30am sharp. Entry fee €10 for single entry, €15 for a family. Refreshments in the Centre after race. All proceeds will go towards Croghan Development Group

  • ST. FEICHINS NATIONAL SCHOOL EASTER WALK

  • CORALSTOWN KINNEGAD GAA BINGO

    Coralstown, Kinnegad GAA are holding their Monster Drive-in Bingo at Kinnegad GAA Grounds on Sunday 19th April at 2pm.
    Spot Prizes on the day! Total prize money €7,000 to be won on the day including jackpot prize of €2,000 which must go on the day.

  • GROW MENTAL HEALTH GROUPS

    Grow Mental Health Support Groups are offering two free Mental Health support groups in Laois every week. In a Grow Mental Health support group, you will find a place, where your voice matters, where people openly share problems and solutions, and find support and encouragement together. The Laois meetings are: Every Thursday at 11.00am in Mountmellick Development Association, MDA Business Park, Mountmellick & Every Thursday at 7.00pm in Portlaoise Parish Centre, Dublin Road, Portlaoise.   • CARMELITE MOATE ANNUAL AUCTION

    The Annual Carmelite Auction, Moate is on Sunday 12th April in aid of the Church Heating Fund. Auction starts at 1pm in the Carmelite Pastoral Centre. Donations such as good sellable furniture, bric-a-brac, clothes, farm machinery, silage, hay, turf, timber, fuel, books, unwanted gifts can be dropped into the Carmelite Shop Moate.
