  • SPECIAL OLYMPICS COLLECTION DAY TULLAMORE

    The Special Olympics Collection Day is in Tullamore this Friday from 10am – 6pm at the following locations: Dunnes Stores – Church Road, & Aldi – across from Tesco Extra. Collection volunteers urgently needed. To sign up, please call Carol on 083 – 390 4972.

  • ALZHEIMERS SUPPORT GROUP

    Cafe Cairdre provides a warm, friendly and supportive environment for people living with dementia, family members, carers and friends. There is a Special Celebration on World Alzheimer's Day, Monday, 21st September, at 2.30- 4pm in The Charleville Centre, Church Road, Tullamore, Guest Speaker, Superintendent Tony Tighe. Come along, meet new people and enjoy a relaxed afternoon together.

  • PILGRIMAGE WALK

    The St Finnian's Pathway Community Team invite everyone to join their Pilgrimage Walk on Sunday, 26th September. You can walk any time from 12 noon to 4 pm. The Pilgrim walk is 6 km from Clonard Church to Ballyboggan Abbey. Register in St Finnian's Parish Centre, beside the Church and receive your pilgrim passport. On the hour a bus will leave Ballyboggan to return to Clonard.

  • COMMUNITY SAFETY MEETINGS OFFALY COUNTY COUNCIL

    Offaly Local Community Safety Partnership is conducting an online and in-person survey on community safety, alongside public consultation meetings across the county. Residents can share their views, discuss safety concerns, and get help completing the survey. The survey is open to everyone aged 12+ who lives or works in Offaly. Findings will help shape priorities and actions to improve safety, wellbeing and inclusion across the county. Paper copies are available at all Offaly County Council offices and libraries.
