Moate’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off at 1.30pm on Tuesday. New Sensory friendly area this year, best dressed dog competition, Street entertainment, Music and food. Join us as the town comes alive to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Over 50 fantastic local groups, clubs & businesses. Traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place. All roads lead to Castlepollard for the The North Westmeath St Patrick’s Day Parade on Tuesday 17th March At 4.45pm. This years theme is ‘Entertainment Through The Ages’ Come celebrate with a televised day full of fun, laughter, and craic agus ceoil. Over €1200 in prizes for the best floats. Carmelite Church Moate, Invites you to Stations of the Cross. Wednesday 4th March at 8pm - walk the Way of the Cross and reflect on the saving love of Christ during this holy season of Lent. Carmelite Shop in Moate has Religious Gifts, Cards and Gifts for all occasions including First Communion, Confirmation, Mother’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter.
