Carthage died on May 23rd., in his 93rd.,  year peacefully with his family at Tullamore Regional Hospital, and previously in the care of the staff at Carthage Nursing home Mucklagh. Late of Bord Na Mona.,   Carthage will repose at Lawless Funeral home, Mucklagh on (Monday) evening from 4p.m until removal at 6p.m to St. Carthage's Church Killina arriving at 6.30p.m.   His Requiem Mass will be celebrated on (Tuesday) at 11a.m, and may be viewed on rahan-parish.ie-killina-webcam.   Carthage will be laid to rest in Rahan Cemetery.
