Dr. Ronan Glynn Resigns His Position As Deputy Chief Medical Officer

He will leave the role at the end of this month.

Dr. Ronan Glynn has resigned from his position as Deputy Chief Medical Officer.

The Department of Health has confirmed he will leave the role at the end of this month.

Dr. Glynn was a prominent figure during the pandemic alongside Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan.

He also deputised for the CMO during his compassionate leave in 2020.
