Johnny Depp To Face Off Ex-Wife Amber Heard In $50M Defamation Trial

New York based reporter Harriet Alexander says Depp claims his ex-wife's article destroyed his acting career. 

Johnny Depp will face off with his ex-wife in a 50 million dollar defamation trial today.

He's suing Amber Heard in the US state of Virginia over an article she wrote for the Washington Post, in which she described herself as a victim of domestic violence. 

The trial is being televised although the Judge has imposed certain reporting restrictions because of the graphic nature of some of the evidence.
