Over 50% Of Shoppers Re-Sell Their Unwanted Purchases

People find it simpler than making a return or they have missed the returns window.

More than half of shoppers have opted to re-sell unwanted purchases themselves -  rather than returning them to the store.

A survey by a credit card provider in the UK suggests the top reasons for reselling include people finding it simpler than making a return or missing the returns window.

A survey of 400 retailers also found 56% reported a drop in return rates in the past year.
