People in high-earning jobs are leading the way.
Packed lunches are back with a bang.
The number of workers bringing their sandwiches with them in to the office has risen by 7% in the past year, due to rising inflation.
Trade magazine The Grocer says there's a demographic shift behind the rise in packed lunches- with people in high-earning jobs leading the way.
The Telegraph reports these professionals were more likely to have been working from home during Covid and more likely to work in cities where there have been the greatest rises in the cost of buying lunch out.
