Prolonged bed rest after embryo transfer during the IVF process has been found to reduce the chances of pregnancy by 15 percent.

A new study led by University College London has looked into the effectiveness of clinical interventions used during the process. 

Performing the transfer under ultrasound guidance increased the chances of pregnancy by over a quarter.
