Two restaurants in France are charging customers who don't eat all their food.

The pan-Asian, all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants in Brittany, have added a 5-euro surcharge for customers who leave a 'substantial' amount of food behind on their plate.

The owners of the L’Atlantis and L’Aigle Royal in Quimper, say they brought in the fee to highlight the issue of food waste, according to inews.co.uk.
