Male staff will also be provided with portable fans and heaters if they need it.

Workers at an ambulance service in the UK can take a year of paid leave for "male menopause"- despite the condition not being clinically recognised.

East Midlands Ambulance Service will allow the time off for men who have mood swings, a lack of energy and are finding it hard to sleep.

Male staff will also be provided with portable fans and heaters if they need it.
