Sculptor Richie Clarke has created the piece of art.
A new wooden resident is making himself at home in a Westmeath village.
Sculptor Richie Clarke has created a carving of St Feichin, who is the patron saint of Fore.
He used a block of Cedar wood to make St.Fechin.
The saint established the monastery at Fore.
The piece of art is located on the walking trail in the village.
Local Fine Gael Councillor Frank McDermott is thanking Creative Ireland and Westmeath County Council for funding the project.
